Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national P&C operations. Fully remote with Central Time Zone alignment, the role partners with leadership to drive standardization, efficiency, and growth for Commercial Lines across the brokerage.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of leadership in large brokerage environments, active P&C license, CPCU/CIC preferred, and a track record of process improvement, workforce planning, and M&A integration.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage or agency.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lines Strategy: develop and execute initiatives that strengthen operations and performance.
• Operational Excellence: identify challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Workflow Standardization: establish standardized workflows and best practices.
• Process Optimization: lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: evaluate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Workforce Planning: analyze staffing models and capacity plans.
• M&A Integration Support: assist in integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: promote EPIC and other tools to improve performance.
• Performance Analysis: use metrics and BI to drive improvements.
• Change Leadership: lead adoption of new processes across the organization.
• Professional Development: maintain industry and leadership expertise.
