Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations of Commercial P&C. You will partner with leadership to standardize workflows, optimize servicing models, and drive growth across the agency network.

The role requires 5–7+ years in commercial lines operational leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations preferred. This fully remote opportunity offers Central Time Zone alignment and occasional on-site collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required for the role.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership within a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and sustainable improvements.
• Workforce planning and capacity modeling experience.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions and integration initiatives.
• EPIC experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop initiatives that strengthen Commercial Lines operations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and workload to support growth and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with MSA and Managed Services for resource alignment.
• Provide national guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
• Build strong partnerships with producers and leadership for implementation.
