Job summary

KCAS Bio is seeking a Director of Business Development to expand our Southeast US territory and partner with clients to advance bioanalytical services. This fully remote role requires a proven track record in life sciences sales, closing complex contracts, and strong collaboration with internal teams.

You will travel 25–40% domestically, build lasting relationships, and represent KCAS at conferences. You will leverage CRM tools and KCAS University for ongoing growth, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• 7+ years of life sciences industry experience with 3–5 years in direct selling/client management.
• Proven ability to close complex, technical service contracts.
• Experience in CRO/CDMO environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed territory sales goals and grow new business within the Southeast US.
• Identify and engage potential customers; qualify leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Articulate KCAS capabilities and develop compelling value propositions.
• Prepare and submit proposals or SOWs and follow up to secure commitments.
• Maintain accounts in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) and provide daily opportunity updates.
• Represent KCAS at conferences and vendor events; travel 25–40% domestically.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and renewal of services.
