Ladders is seeking a Director of AI Engineering (Remote Eligible) to guide foundational AI engineering efforts for innovative products and scalable internal capabilities. You will partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to shape technical direction and deliver high-impact AI systems.

The role emphasizes building a strong team culture, advancing AI infrastructure vision, and overseeing GPU training and cloud-based scale. Remote-eligible with US-based candidates preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI/EE or related field with significant AI/ML experience.
• 8+ years in AI/ML, or 6+ years with a Master's degree.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• 5+ years of experience leading an engineering team preferred.
• 7+ years building large-scale ML or GPU training infra on cloud preferred.
• Hands-on distributed training and programming in Python/Go/C++/CUDA preferred.
• Excellent communication to articulate complex AI concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee design, development, and operation of core AI platform systems.
