Job summary

BetterHelp is expanding its health plan partnerships and strategic payer relationships to increase member access to online therapy services. The Director will own negotiation, contracting, and execution of strategic health plan opportunities with internal teams across product, finance, and legal.

The role requires deep health plan experience, executive relationship management, and the ability to translate payer strategies into scalable programs while ensuring excellent member outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience building and expanding health plan partnerships.
• Ability to negotiate complex payer contracts and terms.
• Strong stakeholder management across product, legal, revenue, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance strategic relationships with priority health plan partners and pursue new payer contracts.
• Improve payer arrangements including delegated credentialing, provider onboarding, and network terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize member access and value through payer relationships.
