Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Director, Government Pricing to lead all federally mandated price calculations (AMP, Best Price, ASP, VA) and related reporting.

The role also oversees rebates and inflation-related programs, ensuring regulatory compliance across federal and state requirements. You will collaborate with Legal, Contract Operations, Market Access, and pricing committees to align government pricing strategy with business goals, leveraging Power BI for data visibility

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration; MBA/CPA/JD preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical or biotech experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years focused on statutory Government Pricing calculations, operations, and compliance.
• Leadership: Experience leading technical analyst teams, audits, and presenting regulatory risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead all federally mandated price calculations including AMP, Best Price, ASP, and VA Non-FAMP pricing and related reporting.
• Institute GP checks for accuracy, validate modeling setup, test GP changes, and assess business impact.
• Oversee government rebates and discounts programs and related reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state requirements including Medicare Drug Price Negotiation and price transparency.
• Collaborate with Contract Operations, Market Access, and Pricing Committees; educate stakeholders on GP implications.
