Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a dynamic Fundraising Communications & Enablement Director. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA, leading a team to craft compelling fundraising narratives and donor-focused strategies.

You will partner with senior leaders to align messaging with growth objectives, oversee content creation, and drive engagement across national and regional campaigns. Strong project management and strategic communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of fundraising communications or related experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
