Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a professional, innovative Fundraising Communications and Enablement Director. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA, leading strategic fundraising communications and donor-focused initiatives to drive engagement and growth.

You will mentor a team, collaborate across departments, and align messaging with organizational priorities while managing large-scale projects and multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent and effective messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support and enhance fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
