Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking a Director, Event Strategy & Experience to own the enterprise event portfolio and guide a team of experienced planners. You will translate business objectives into high-impact executive experiences while maintaining governance, contracts, and disciplined financial oversight.

You will partner with senior leaders to deliver leadership meetings, conferences, and customer events, while managing budgets and cross-functional governance to achieve strong ROI across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate events or related fields with large programs.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale events and executive experiences, incl. C-suite meetings.
• Strong financial and operational management with ownership of budgets and ROI.
• Experience in a Fortune 500 environment or with an agency partner.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to translate priorities into leadership meetings and events.
• Own end-to-end event execution across strategy, planning, production, logistics, and onsite delivery.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of event planners with clear vision and standards.
• Manage significant event budgets, forecasts, and expenditures; optimize investments.
• Lead cross-functional governance with communications, legal, procurement, IT, and others.
• Oversee strategic agencies, vendors, venues, and production partners; negotiate contracts.
• Establish analytics to measure event effectiveness, ROI, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure on-brand, risk-managed experiences with contingency planning.
