Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Director, Event Strategy & Experience to own enterprise event strategy and portfolio, lead a team of event planners, and advise senior executives.

You will translate business objectives into high-impact experiences, govern operations, negotiate contracts, and oversee budgets with disciplined financial oversight. You will partner with executives to drive leadership meetings, conferences, and customer events, ensuring global consistency and ROI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate events experience including large, complex programs.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale executive events including C-suite meetings.
• Strong financial and operational management with ownership of substantial budgets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to translate priorities into leadership meetings, conferences, and events.
• Lead end-to-end event execution across a complex portfolio, including strategy, planning, production, logistics, and post-event evaluation.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of event planners with clear vision and standards.
• Own significant event budgets and manage forecasts, expenditures, and vendor contracts.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with communications, business units, legal, procurement, IT, and others.
• Manage strategic agency, vendor, venue, and production partnerships and accountability for quality and cost.
• Establish performance measurement and analytics to evaluate ROI and impact.
• Ensure on-brand, risk-managed experiences with contingency planning.
