Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Director, Event Strategy & Experience to own the enterprise event portfolio, partnering with senior leaders to translate business objectives into high-impact experiences across leadership meetings, conferences, customer events, and employee engagements.

You will build a high-performing team, manage substantial budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure risk-managed, on-brand experiences with measurable ROI, reporting to the VP of Associate Communications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate events, experiential marketing, meetings, or related field.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale events and executive experiences, including C-suite meetings and leadership conferences.
• Strong financial and operational management, including budgets, contracts, risk management, and ROI.
• Experience in a Fortune 500 environment or with an agency partner.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to translate strategic priorities into leadership meetings, conferences, and customer events.
• Lead end-to-end event execution across strategy, planning, production, logistics, onsite, and post-event evaluation.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of event planners with clear vision and accountability.
• Own significant event budgets and financial performance, including forecasts and contract negotiations.
• Establish governance and cross-functional alignment across communications, legal, procurement, IT, and other stakeholders.
