Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Director of Event Strategy & Experience to own the enterprise event portfolio and align programs with corporate objectives.

You will lead a team of event planners, partner with senior executives, and drive governance, budgeting, and vendor relationships across a complex portfolio. The role focuses on executive experiences, leadership meetings, conferences, and customer events, with responsibility for strategy, planning, production, and post-event analysis.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate events, experiential marketing, or similar leadership roles.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale events and executive experiences, including C-suite meetings and major conferences.
• Strong financial and operational management, including budgets, vendor management, contracts, and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to translate priorities into leadership meetings, conferences, and events.
• Lead end-to-end event execution across strategy, planning, production, logistics, onsite, and post-event evaluation.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of event planners with clear vision, standards, and accountability.
• Own budgets and financial performance, forecast the portfolio, negotiate contracts, and optimize investments.
• Lead cross-functional governance with communications, legal, procurement, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Manage strategic agency, vendor, venue and production partnerships, negotiate contracts, ensure quality and delivery.
• Establish performance measurement and continuous improvement practices to evaluate ROI.
• Ensure on-brand, risk-managed experiences with contingency planning.
