Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Director, Event Strategy & Experience to own enterprise event strategy and portfolio, leading a team of planners and translating business objectives into high-impact experiences.

The role oversees budgets, governance, contracts, and external partnerships to deliver executive events that align with corporate priorities. The position is fully remote within the United States with up to 40% travel, reports to the Vice President of Associate Communications, and will lead 4-5

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate events or related field.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale events including executive experiences.
• Strong financial management, vendor contracts, and ROI focus.
• Experience in Fortune 500 environments or with agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to translate priorities into leadership meetings, conferences, and customer events.
• Lead end-to-end event execution across strategy, planning, production, logistics, onsite execution, and post-event evaluation.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of event planners by setting vision and standards.
• Own significant event budgets and financial performance by establishing budgets and forecasts.
• Lead cross-functional alignment and governance with communications, business units, executive offices, legal, procurement, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Manage strategic agency, vendor, venue, and production partnerships by selecting and overseeing external partners and negotiating contracts.
• Establish performance measurement, analytics, and continuous improvement practices to evaluate event effectiveness and ROI.
