Qualifications

8+ years of disability underwriting experience within a carrier, reinsurer, brokerage, consulting organization, or related insurance environment.
Deep knowledge of IDI underwriting and disability insurance products.
Ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct managerial authority.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and strategic initiatives.
Experience with underwriting automation, AI, predictive analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Support profitable growth initiatives across IDI, GSI, High Limit IDI, GLTD, and related living benefits markets.
Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and distribution strategies.
Partner with underwriting and business development teams to identify and evaluate new growth opportunities.
Provide strategic insights to enhance Munich Re's market position and client value proposition.
