Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations. This role partners with Divisional and Regional leaders to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and drive performance across the brokerage.

Strong license, CPCU/CIC preferred, and 5–7+ years in a similar leadership role are required. The position offers fully remote work with preferred Central Time Zone hours, and may require hybrid onsite work within certain

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with divisional and regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate issues via root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Serve as national Commercial P&C subject matter expert.
• Support M&A integration through planning and standardization.
• Collaborate with producers, operations and leadership for implementation.
• Promote EPIC usage, reporting tools, and tech optimization.
• Utilize metrics and BI to drive performance improvements.
• Lead change management and ongoing professional development.
