Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. You will partner with divisional leadership to advance objectives, optimize operations, and standardize workflows across the organization to maximize client outcomes and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with leadership to improve operations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
• Analyze issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable gains.
• Plan staffing and capacity to support growth and efficiency.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration and workflow alignment during transactions.
• Collaborate with producers and leaders to drive adoption of new practices.
• Promote EPIC usage and tech tools to boost performance.
