Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national subject matter expert in Commercial P&C and agency operations. You will partner with leadership to drive operational excellence, standardize workflows, and support M&A integration while advocating for best practices across the organization.

The role emphasizes strategic advisory support to producers and operational leaders, with focus on scale, efficiency, and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience conducting workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines operations initiatives with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop capacity plans to support growth and organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and best practices.
