Job summary
The Director/VP, Commercial Lines at Insurance Office of America is a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. This role partners with Divisional and Regional Leadership to advance corporate objectives, optimize operational effectiveness, and strengthen Commercial Lines performance across the organization.
The Director/VP also plays a key role in M&A integration and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
- 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
- Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
- Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership to improve performance.
- Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, standardized workflows.
- Lead process optimization to boost productivity and client outcomes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Plan workforce capacity and align resources to demand.
- Collaborate with Managed Services to ensure efficient resource use.
- Provide national guidance as a Commercial P&C subject matter expert.
- Support M&A integration through assessments, planning, and alignment.
