Job summary

Insurance Office of America in the United States seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national SME in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. This leader partners with divisional and regional teams to advance objectives, standardize workflows, and scale operations across the organization.

The role supports producers, account teams, and leadership in delivering exceptional client service, optimizing performance, and guiding M&A integration and transformation

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

• Root Cause Analysis: evaluate issues and implement corrective actions.

• M&A Integration Support: assess integrations and plan workflow alignment.
• Technical Expertise: act as national SME on agency operations and systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: build partnerships with producers, operations, and leadership.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: maximize EPIC and reporting tools usage.
• Performance Analysis: use metrics to drive improvements.
• Change Leadership: drive adoption of new processes and practices.
