Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, standardize workflows, and optimize performance across the organization. The role partners with senior leadership to drive efficiency, profitability, and client service quality in a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership, active P&C licensure, and CPCU/CIC designations.

Qualifications

Active P&C license required.
CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations and workflow optimization.
Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
Experience with root cause analysis and sustainable process improvements.
Workforce planning and capacity modeling experience.
Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
EPIC experience preferred.
Excellent communication and change leadership skills.
Ability to influence leaders and drive results in a matrixed organization.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with Divisional and Regional Leadership.
Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and quality.
Evaluate issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
Analyze staffing and workload to develop capacity plans.
Coordinate with Managed Services for resource alignment.
Serve as national Commercial P&C subject matter expert on operations and systems.
Support M&A integration through planning and standardization.
Build partnerships with producers, ops teams, and leadership.
Promote EPIC, workflows, and reporting tools to improve performance.
Drive adoption of new processes and changes across the organization.
Maintain ongoing professional development and IOA values.
