Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, standardize workflows, and drive growth. This remote role partners with senior leaders to optimize client service, scalability, and strategic initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership, a strong P&C toolkit, and proven change leadership. Collaboration with producers and operations is essential for success in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with root cause analysis and sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lines Strategy: Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen operations and performance.
• Operational Excellence: Identify challenges and implement scalable solutions.
