Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to act as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. You will partner with leadership to drive standardization, efficiency, and growth across the organization, while supporting M&A integration and transformation initiatives.

The role requires 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, a P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty License required.
CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
Demonstrated experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations, service delivery, and performance.
Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and consistency.
Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth and excellence.
Ensure efficient utilization of resources in line with organizational goals.
Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
Support merger and acquisition integration through operational assessments and planning.
