Job summary

CTI is seeking a Director of Business Development & Client Management with experience in biotech/pharma sales to expand relationships and drive strategic opportunities. This remote-friendly role emphasizes building senior-level client partnerships, coordinating with proposals, and delivering tailored CTI services from Phase I–III to NDA support.

Candidates should demonstrate a track record of progressive achievement, strategic thinking, and networking skills, with 5+ years in pharma or clinical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or physical/life science.
• Sales experience including account profiling, relationship development, needs assessment and account closing.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical, clinical or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain relationships with qualified targets and decision makers within biotech and pharma.
• Work with targeted BD accounts to secure future business and align CTI offerings to client needs.
• Collaborate with CTI’s proposal team to deliver budgets and proposals with direction on text and scope.
• Develop and maintain relationships with CTI’s clinical operations management and proposal/contracting teams.
• Develop disease strategies to drive awareness, lead generation and opportunity identification.
• Attend therapeutically focused conferences as CTI representative to meet prospective clients.
• Lead bid defense meetings, including preparation, strategy and follow-up.
• Lead capabilities discussions with presentation, strategy and follow-up.
