Job summary

CTI Clinical Trial Services is seeking a Manager, Business Development & Client Management, Lab Services to drive sales of central laboratory services for Phase I-III trials. This remote role targets biotech/pharma clients and requires building relationships with decision makers while coordinating with CTI teams.

The ideal candidate will have a business/life sciences background and 2–5 years in pharma sales, with strong strategic networking skills and a proven track record in client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or physical/life science.
• 3-5 years’ clinical trial experience in central laboratory or specialty laboratory focused on pharmaceutical research & development.
• 2-3 years in a sales role in a central laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain relationships with qualified targets and decision makers within biotech and pharma, uncovering potential sales opportunities and developing effective sales strategies.
• Work with targeted business development accounts to secure future business - explain offerings and align CTI offerings to meet customer’s needs.
• Work with CTI’s proposal team to deliver budgets and proposals, including providing key direction on proposal text and budget scope.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key members of CTI’s laboratory operational management and proposal/contracting teams.
• Develop and implement disease strategies to drive awareness, lead generation and opportunity identification.

Education
