Job summary

KCAS Bio is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive strategic growth across the Southeast US, with a fully remote, territory-based focus.

You will partner with new and existing customers to articulate KCAS's bioanalytical and biomarker services, close complex contracts, and expand our footprint through value-based selling in a fast-paced CRO environment.

Travel up to 25-40% is expected, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences and at least 7 years in life sciences sales or client management.
• 3–5 years in direct selling or client management within life sciences.
• Experience selling complex bioanalytical services across LC-MS/MS, ligand binding assays, flow cytometry, and molecular platforms in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to close complex, technical service contracts.
• Previous client-facing interaction required; CRO/CDMO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed territory sales goals by expanding existing accounts and developing new business.
• Identify and establish potential customers; prospect, qualify, and engage leads.
• Demonstrate KCAS capabilities and develop a value proposition to close deals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our services and industry to communicate value to clients.
• Prepare proposals or SOWs and ensure scope coverage.
• Manage accounts and contacts in Salesforce and HubSpot, with daily opportunity updates.
• Support vendor exhibitions and professional conferences.
