Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is hiring a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by attracting new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. You will sell to local customers in person and over the phone, while expanding the book of business through community involvement and outside marketing.

You will maintain a steady pipeline, conduct outbound prospecting, and partner with leadership on sales and local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
