Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. Role involves local in-person and phone sales, with emphasis on community involvement and outside marketing efforts.

The position offers Day 1 benefits, an uncapped incentive structure, and comprehensive training. 0–2 years' experience and P&C licensing preferred with 90-day licensure goal.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or related field.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
