National General in the United States is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by acquiring new business and cross-selling to existing customers. You will build relationships in the community and generate a healthy pipeline through local outreach and referrals.

The role blends in-person and phone-based interactions, with a focus on delivering tailored insurance solutions while meeting compliance and customer experience standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
• Knowledge of products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.

Responsabilités

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline with local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (dealerships, events, local partners) to support growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
