Job summary

The Trevor Project is seeking a Community Philanthropy Manager, Direct Response, to drive integrated direct/digital fundraising campaigns. This remote role covers the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii and reports to the VP of Community Philanthropy.

You will oversee segmentation, manage agency/vendor relationships, and lead project management for multi-channel campaigns while ensuring alignment with organizational messaging and donor data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct response fundraising for nonprofits, agencies, or higher education.
• Ability to lead multi-channel campaigns (mail, email, digital, SMS).
• Strong data-driven mindset with segmentation and testing.
• Proficiency with fundraising software and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Community Philanthropy campaigns (direct mail, email, advertising, SEM, mobile, social).
• Create segmentation strategies to improve donor participation and engagement.
• Lead project management of campaigns using Asana to produce cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship pieces.
• Coordinate with vendors and agencies to execute campaigns and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate ethical fundraising practices and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fundraising with organizational messaging.
