Job summary

The Trevor Project seeks a Community Philanthropy Manager, Direct Response, to lead integrated direct/digital fundraising campaigns across mail, email, SMS, and digital media. This remote role collaborates with philanthropy, operations, and marketing to align messaging and donor data management, with 3–5 years in direct response fundraising.

You will manage campaign execution, vendor relations, and testing programs, ensuring ethical practice and inclusive donor engagement within a nationwide

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct response marketing experience at an agency, nonprofit, or higher education institution.
• Proven track record as a fundraiser with individual gifts.
• Proficiency with direct marketing tests, controls, and fundraising appeals for digital and print.
• Experience using digital tools including email marketing and SMS/mobile platforms.
• Analytical with data segmentation and comfort with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of integrated direct/digital fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, advertising, SEM, mobile, social).
• Lead campaign project management (Asana) from inception to stewardship pieces.
• Oversee vendor relationships (agency, printers, mail houses, etc.).
• Ensure fair, ethical, and inclusive business practices and donor data integrity.
• Collaborate with philanthropy, operations, and marketing teams to align messaging.
