Job summary

Paired is seeking a Direct Response Creative Producer to convert approved scripts into detailed visual direction for high-performing Meta ads. You will define hooks, B-roll, talent, pacing, on-screen text, and editing style with a focus on conversion.

You will lead line-by-line visual direction, storyboarding, and collaboration with editors and media buyers to optimize creatives based on performance, applying direct-response principles across all creative execution.

Qualifications

• Experience creating or directing direct-response video ads.
• Strong understanding of Meta ads, VSLs, UGC, hooks, and conversion-focused creative.
• Background in video editing, creative production, or performance advertising.
• Experience creating storyboards, visual briefs, or editor direction from scripts.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and ad performance.
• Experience with AI creative tools, avatars, or AI-generated video/B-roll.
• Experience with heavy direct-response / VSL brands (e.g., City Beauty, Furlife, Dr. Marty Pets, Emma, Javy Coffee, Crown Naturale, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Turn ad scripts into line-by-line visual direction and storyboards for video editors.
• Define hooks, shots, B-roll, pacing, transitions, on-screen text, and editing style.
• Select and direct UGC creators, talent, AI avatars, and AI-generated B-roll.
• Research competitors and winning Meta ads to identify new creative angles and formats.
• Collaborate with copywriters, editors, and media buyers to improve creatives based on performance.
• Apply direct-response principles across all creative execution.
