Job summary

7Seventy is seeking a Copywriter focused on script and conversion to create high-performing direct-response copy for paid media and onsite experiences. You will own video scripts for UGC, founder-led, educational, testimonial formats, plus paid ad copy and product detail pages.

You will translate customer research and performance data into compelling hooks, angles, and calls to action, while adhering to regulatory and claims constraints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing direct-response video scripts that have been produced and scaled with paid media.
• Portfolio examples showing measurable performance from scripts, landing pages, product detail pages, or other conversion-focused copy.
• Experience writing landing page or product detail page copy with measurable conversion results.
• Experience writing across multiple voices, especially founder-led and UGC/creator-led content.

Responsibilities

• Write direct-response video scripts across UGC, founder-led, educational, testimonial, and conversion-focused formats.
• Develop copy across the customer journey from top-of-funnel education to bottom-of-funnel conversion.
• Write and optimize paid ad copy, landing pages, product detail pages, advertorials, and other conversion-focused experiences.
• Collaborate with Creative and Growth from concept to ensure messaging and creative align.
• Translate research, reviews, product insights, and performance data into hooks, angles, objections, proof points, offers, and CTAs.
• Develop product-selection, comparison, upsell, and downsell messaging to guide purchase decisions.
• Adapt messaging across voices and formats including founder-led and creator-led content.
• Develop deep understanding of products, technology, use cases, and supporting science.
• Write persuasive copy within regulatory and claims constraints.
• Use performance data to identify winning messaging and iterate on scripts.
• Document and maintain voice, messaging, and claim-safe language guidelines for performance creative.
