Job summary

BAD Marketing is seeking a direct response copywriter to own creative strategy, ad writing, and email within a client pod in our info/coaching division. You’ll write ad scripts, body copy, emails, and hooks for clients spending $100k–$1M+ monthly on ads, and lead the creative strategy process with data-driven concepts.

You’ll collaborate with a strategist, media buyer, and PM, and you’ll write email sequences within senior-defined frameworks while building on messaging foundations.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of direct response copywriting experience, in info/coaching space preferred.
• Ability to write ad scripts, body copy, leads, emails across formats.
• Understand awareness levels, belief shifts, and persuasion principles.

Responsibilities

• Write ad scripts, body copy, leads and emails within established frameworks.
• Drive creative strategy and test ideas with data and reasoning.
• Analyze performance data and iterate based on insights.
• Coordinate with designers and editors on video scripts and direction.
• Lead creative strategy calls and present concepts with rationale.
