Upstart is seeking a Diligence Program Lead to manage partner due diligence, change management, and documentation across Compliance, Lending Partnerships, Account Management, and Product. You will automate processes, maintain secure repositories, and respond to regulatory requests to support a growing partner base.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership of diligence and model-risk related activities, with remote-friendly work options and collaboration across multiple teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 5 years of experience in financial services compliance, risk, audit, or third-party due diligence.
• 2 years of experience responding to due diligence questionnaires, regulatory examinations, or audit requests from banks or credit unions.
• Experience owning a recurring operational or reporting process end to end, including its documentation.
• Experience administering a document management system or controlled-access content repository.

Responsabilidades

• Own the lending partner change management program end to end: assemble each release, notify partners of updates, and keep libraries current.
• Respond to diligence questionnaires with Compliance, Legal, and Model Risk Management to source and verify answers.
• Maintain the partner-facing document repository and access controls.
• Run the recurring corrective action reporting cycle: validate data, distribute reports, confirm delivery.
• Move manual workflows to supported tooling and document processes so others can run them.
• Identify gaps in policy ownership and documentation and raise them with Compliance and Lending Partnerships.
