Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Due Diligence Analyst to join our Risk team. You’ll help onboard new partners, ensuring compliance, AML, and risk standards are met before launch.

This role involves partner-facing duties, cross-functional collaboration, and managing multiple onboarding workstreams in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years in risk/compliance, strong analytical skills, and experience reviewing regulatory materials across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in risk management, third-party risk, compliance, AML, or related functions within financial services or regulated industries.
• Experience reviewing diligence materials across jurisdictions and regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical skills to identify anomalies and risk indicators.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence reviews for new and existing partners, including fintechs and financial institutions.
• Communicate requirements, timelines, and missing documents to onboarding partners globally.
• Conduct third-party risk management processes: KYC, KYB, enhanced due diligence, policy reviews, onboarding flow reviews, risk assessments.
• Review partner documentation for completeness and potential risk indicators.
• Track onboarding progress and ensure documents are submitted before launch deadlines.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, AML, Legal, Product, and Project Management to meet requirements.
• Identify gaps and contribute to process improvements in onboarding and diligence.
• Maintain accurate records of reviews, decisions, and supporting documentation.
