Job summary

Market My Market is seeking a Digital PR Contractor to own end-to-end media outreach for a portfolio of clients in legal, medical, and dental sectors. You will identify stories, build targeted journalist lists, craft pitches, and secure coverage while reporting to the Director of PR.

You’ll manage daily outreach via Qwoted and journalist relationships, shape angles for expert commentary, and brief the content team on how to write it. This is a contractor role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in PR, digital PR, media relations, or journalism.
• Proven placements you can point to with angle and reporter response.
• You generate the pitches, not just execute them.
• Strong, fast writing turning complex topics into clear pitches.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable with remote work and tight timelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Campaign Execution: Run PR campaigns from brief through outreach, follow-up, and results.
• Media Relationships & Outreach: Build real relationships with reporters, lead outreach and follow-ups.
• Pitch Writing & Storytelling: Write pitches reporters actually open, tailored to outlet and moment.
• Reactive Media: Monitor news cycles and pitch timely angles.
• Source Requests: Respond to journalist source requests on platforms like Qwoted.
• Thought Leadership & Expert Positioning: Identify angles to position clients as credible sources.
• Data-Led Campaigns: Support campaigns by sourcing datasets and shaping angles.
• Media List Building & Targeting: Build refined media lists and sharpen targeting.
• Reporting: Track coverage and outreach performance.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor coverage and gaps to differentiate clients.
• Collaboration: Work with content, Client Experience, and PR leadership.
