Job summary

Market My Market, a remote-friendly digital PR agency, seeks a Digital PR Contractor to own end-to-end media outreach for legal, dental, and specialty clients. You’ll build targeted lists, write pitches, secure coverage, and guide content teams to deliver expert commentary.

You will report to the Director of PR and collaborate with the Digital PR team to land placements, links, and thought leadership. Potential to grow into full-time based on performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in PR, digital PR, media relations, or journalism.
• Proven placements you can point to with angles and reporter responses.
• Ability to generate multiple pitching ideas for a client and a news cycle.
• Strong, fast writing that makes complex topics clear.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and client portfolios simultaneously.
• Comfortable with volume and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with remote-work discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Campaign Execution: Run PR campaigns from brief through outreach, follow-up, and results.
• Media Relationships & Outreach: Build relationships with reporters and editors, track preferences.
• Pitch Writing & Storytelling: Write pitches tailored to outlets and angles.
• Reactive Media: Monitor news cycles and pitch timely angles.
• Source Requests: Respond to journalist source requests on platforms.
• Thought Leadership & Expert Positioning: Identify angles for credible commentary.
• Data-Led Campaigns: Source datasets, shape angles around numbers.
• Media List Building & Targeting: Build targeted media lists and refine over time.
• Reporting: Track coverage and outreach performance.
• Collaboration: Work with content, client experience, and PR leadership.
• Compliance: Align campaigns with client goals and policies.
