Market My Market is hiring a Digital PR Contractor to own end-to-end media outreach for a portfolio of legal, dental, and specialty medical clients. You’ll manage outreach, pitches, and securing coverage while reporting to the Director of PR and collaborating with the Digital PR team.

This contractor role offers a path to full-time based on performance and growth. Expect weekly tasks like spotting opportunities, building targeted media lists, daily outreach through Qwoted and journalist

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in PR, digital PR, media relations, or journalism, with hands-on outreach experience.
• Proven placements you can point to; describe a piece of coverage and the angle that earned it.
• You generate angles, not just execute them; bring three pitching ideas for a client and news cycle.
• Strong, fast writing that turns complex topics into concise, compelling copy.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and client portfolios simultaneously.
• Comfortable with volume and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with discipline to work remotely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Campaign Execution: Run PR campaigns from brief through outreach, follow-up, and results.
• Media Relationships & Outreach: Build relationships with reporters and editors and track preferences.
• Pitch Writing & Storytelling: Write pitches tailored to outlets, angles, and moments.
• Reactive Media: Monitor news cycles and pitch timely angles to reporters.
• Source Requests: Respond daily to journalist source requests on Qwoted and similar platforms.
• Thought Leadership & Expert Positioning: Position clients as credible sources and brief the content team.
• Data-Led Campaigns: Source datasets and shape angles around numbers.
• Media List Building & Targeting: Build lists using Muck Rack, JournoFinder, and manual research.
• Reporting: Track coverage, links, and outreach performance.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor coverage to find differentiation opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work with content, Client Experience, and PR leadership.
