Job summary

405 Magazine is seeking a motivated Advertising Account Executive to grow new business across digital platforms. This remote, part-time role focuses on selling exclusively digital offerings, including influencer partnerships and sponsored content, with autonomy to manage your book of business.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams to package custom campaigns, articulate ROI to clients, and build lasting relationships from pitch to post-campaign reporting.

Qualifications

• Background in digital advertising, agency sales, influencer marketing, or social media strategy.
• Proven ability to sell custom campaigns, not just fixed-rate ads.
• Strong understanding of social metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions).

Responsibilities

• Identify new sales opportunities and build relationships using a consultative approach.
• Create and present clients with customized, multi-platform marketing plans including digital and event sponsorship solutions.
• Cold calling, prospecting and retaining new advertisers.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals.
• Must have experience working with a digital database.
• Attend industry networking events to prospect future clients.
