Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver virtual nutrition care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct synchronous video visits, collaborate with medical providers and therapists, and guide patients through multi-week programs focused on metabolic health and overall well-being.

The role offers total scheduling flexibility, a 1099 independent contractor arrangement, and compensation per active visit hour.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan and outcomes.
• Work with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, bone and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits.
