Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver expert virtual care for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause. You will set your own schedule while collaborating with a multi-specialty team to provide holistic nutrition therapy via telehealth, with a focus on metabolic health and bone and gut health.

As an independent contractor, you will conduct video visits, document thoroughly, and uphold privacy standards while enjoying flexible scheduling and onboarding

Qualifications

• National certification as an RD or RD/Nutritionist with a license to practice in any US state.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week format to enable sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health and bone health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold privacy and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo.
