Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver expert, compassionate virtual care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct synchronous video visits, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients through multi-week programs.

This is a remote, independent contractor role with flexible scheduling. Requires national RD license, 2 years of nutrition counseling, comfort with telehealth/EMR, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• National certification as RD or RD/Nutritionist by the CDR with license to practice in any US state.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states are highly encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients experiencing midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team with the patient’s medical provider and therapist to ensure a cohesive care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to support sustainable lifestyle changes and improve well-being.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
