Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver expert nutrition care for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause transitions. You will conduct synchronous video visits, working within a multi-specialty team to provide holistic care.

As an independent contractor, you set patient-facing hours, collaborate with medical providers and therapists, and help patients achieve lasting lifestyle changes through evidence-based nutrition therapy.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD/Nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong clinical independence and collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits.
