Job summary

EVERSANA seeks a remote field-based Diagnostic Specialist to educate healthcare providers on genetic testing programs in CT/RI/MA/NH/ME and Upstate NY. You will lead education initiatives, identify gaps, and collaborate with client teams to shape national diagnostic strategy.

You will travel extensively, work with labs and KOLs, and deliver impactful training to HCPs about IRD gene panels and sponsored testing. Strong communication and cross-functional skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; healthcare degree strongly preferred
• Minimum 7+ years pharma/biotech experience in commercial, clinical/medical, or diagnostics
• Proven success working in high-performing, diverse teams
• Experience collaborating with KOLs, labs, and internal/external stakeholders
• Prior experience in rare or ultra-rare diseases with strong patient focus preferred
• Diagnostic and scientific acumen
• Strategic thinking and operational capability
• Ability to succeed in matrixed environments
• Persistence, resilience, and achievement orientation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Cross-functional capability and strong ethical standards
• Knowledge of ophthalmology strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Educate on genetic testing to raise awareness of sponsored testing programs
• Identify educational needs among the IRD healthcare community
• Provide education on labs performing high-quality gene analysis with IRD panels
• Educate on interpretation of results
• Compliantly partner with cross-functional teams
• Contribute to diagnostic strategy across the US
• Identify Genetic Testing KOLs and provide educational support
• Attend conferences to learn about diagnostic programs
• Participate in advocacy and engagement with local orgs
• Deliver high-quality education to inform strategy
• Educate HCPs and labs for sponsored testing usage
• Provide resources for questions from testing labs
• Educate on IRD gene panels and test requisition practices
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion
