Job summary

EVERSANA seeks a field-based Diagnostic Specialist to educate healthcare providers on genetic testing initiatives and lead regional diagnostic strategies. This remote role prioritizes education for IRD gene panels and collaboration with client teams to advance sponsored testing programs.

The position requires extensive travel, strong communication, and experience with KOLs, labs, and diverse stakeholders. Remote field-based with US geography flexibility.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; healthcare degree strongly preferred (MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD).
• 7+ years of pharma/biotech experience in commercial, clinical/medical, or diagnostics.
• Experience collaborating with KOLs, labs, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Prior experience in rare or ultra-rare diseases with strong patient focus.
• Diagnostic and scientific acumen, strategic thinking and operational capability.
• Ability to succeed in matrixed environments with strong ethics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; cross-functional teamwork.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate on genetic testing to raise awareness of sponsored testing programs.
• Identify educational needs among the IRD healthcare community.
• Provide education on genetic labs performing IRD gene analyses and interpretation of results.
• Compliantly partner with cross-functional teams and contribute to US diagnostic strategy.
• Identify KOLs, attend conferences, and educate HCPs and labs for sponsored testing utilization.
