Job summary

Gatesource HR is partnering with a leading global player in mineral processing and engineering solutions to identify a Project Development Manager to drive growth across North America. The role requires extensive on-site engagement with customers and leadership of complex, capital equipment projects.

You will build and manage a robust pipeline across studies, upgrades, modular plant, and retrofits, own revenue targets, and guide opportunities from concept through contract award while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience across technical and commercial roles in: Engineering consulting, EPC/EPCM, Capital equipment or mining/mineral processing.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience developing business before formal RFP/tender stage.
• Background in plant upgrades, process improvements, or engineering studies.
• Experience selling or supporting capital equipment / modular solutions.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America, and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Be present where the work happens and spend significant time on-site with customers across North America.
• Identify operational challenges and develop executable proposals with engineering teams.
• Build and close a strong pipeline across engineering studies, brownfield upgrades, modular plant and capital solutions.
• Own a personal revenue target and drive complex sales cycles with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations from concept through contract award and improve win rates.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM discipline.
