Job summary

Gorilla Doctors is seeking a Development Operations & Annual Giving Manager to lead donor data integrity and gift processing within a remote US team. You will coordinate annual campaigns, donor communications, and reporting while supporting front‑line fundraising efforts to strengthen the major gift pipeline.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will manage Salesforce data, oversee tax receipts, and work with external partners to optimize donor engagement and fundraising outcomes for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in nonprofit development, database management, or related field.
• Self‑starter who can absorb and organize information quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills, including scheduling and managing office procedures.
• Experience in donor database management and operations.
• Advanced technical skills and computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel (pivot tables).
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Warm, professional customer service manner by phone and email.
• Sound judgment and discretion to maintain donor privacy and confidentiality.
• Commitment to the Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Integrity: enter donations, pledges, donor touchpoints into Salesforce; maintain clean records.
• Gift Acknowledgments: generate and mail tax receipts and thank‑you letters weekly.
• Reporting & Analytics: pull donor lists and segments for oversight and audits.
• Pledge Management: track pledges and issue reminders as needed.
• Vendor Liaison: manage relationships with technology vendors with the CDO.
• Salesforce Consultant Liaison: coordinate with Salesforce consultant on complex operations.
• Documentation: create and maintain policy/procedure docs for donor data.
• Workflow Improvement: evaluate gift processing workflows and reconcile with finance.
