The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to support peer-to-peer event portfolios in the Southern California area. The role includes managing existing and new teams, individual fundraisers, and volunteers, with a focus on diabetes awareness and community engagement.

The candidate must live within 50 miles of Los Angeles and be able to travel for events. Primary duties include guiding event fundraiser development, driving revenue, and stewarding

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years in peer-to-peer fundraising, events, and volunteerism.
• Ability to recruit and lead volunteers for event day execution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Must live within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a peer-to-peer fundraising portfolio generating $50,000–$150,000 annually.
• Review daily campaign data to identify opportunities to drive revenue.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure timely engagement of registrants and donors.
• Develop data-driven approaches to acquire participants, teams, corporate partners, sponsors, and community leaders.
• Maintain donor records and track next steps in CRM and central files.
• Support event day activities and volunteer committee execution.
• Collaborate on marketing opportunities and partnerships within the market.
