Job summary

The American Diabetes Association is seeking an experienced fundraising leader to serve as Pacific Northwest market leader, guiding strategy, planning and execution of a diversified revenue portfolio across local boards, partnerships, donor stewardship and campaigns.

In this role you will recruit and develop executive volunteers, coach staff, and build cross-sector collaborations to advance diabetes prevention and management in the community while meeting financial targets and ensuring strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in non-profit management and 8–10 years of leadership.
• Proven fundraising success and non-profit leadership.
• Track record of managing revenue growth.
• Knowledge of product marketing and sales concepts.
• Outcome-driven with ability to respond to changing priorities.
• Ability to manage and motivate groups and individuals; strong communication.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong market, community, and constituent perspective.
• Proficient in computer-based information systems.
• Willingness to work some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteer leadership recruitment, stewardship and engagement.
• Create a shared vision with volunteers and staff.
• Recruit and manage Event Chairs, Executive Leadership Teams and CLB.
• Establish business plans to achieve priorities and drive revenue.
• Maintain communication with CLB; inform progress and challenges.
• Provide staff support for event leadership and CLB committees.
• Build and manage a successful staff team with clear goals.
• Align staff resources to maximize performance.
• Develop annual performance expectations with staff.
• Coach and train staff on campaign management and execution.
• Position ADA as a leader in diabetes prevention and management.
• Develop advocacy strategies and relationships with officials.
• Develop relationships with media and strategic partners.
