Job summary

Action1 is expanding its engineering organization and seeks a Dev Manager to lead the integrations team. You will drive delivery for connectors, data mapping, and the Integrations Store while collaborating with Product Management to align customer needs with technical capabilities.

The role combines leadership with hands-on technical work, emphasizing secure, scalable integrations and observability across production systems. Remote-friendly, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineers and delivering production systems.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and problem solving.
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS in production and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an engineering team, providing technical direction, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Own delivery outcomes within the agreed scope, provide practical estimates, and make capacity and priority tradeoffs visible.
• Delegate ownership to engineers and, as the team grows, team leads; keep the role to three clearly defined focus areas.
• Work with Product Management to define priorities, plan delivery, and translate customer needs into integration capabilities.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of integrations, including connectors and an Integrations Store.
• Guide technical decisions within the domain from design to production rollout, coordinating architecture and security.
